Higher Penderleath Caravan and Camping Park is in a remote countryside location just five minutes south of St Ives in Cornwall. Tents and tourers can camp on grass pitches with the option of an electric hook up. Family and dog friendly.

About the site

Higher Penderleath is set in 12 acres of parkland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is also accessible from the A30. Take in the views across the North Cornish countryside towards the village of St Ives. The park offers pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes across four large fields. Serviced pitches include 6 amp electric hook up. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short lead at all times.

Facilities in converted granite barns include basic toilet blocks with free showers, a launderette and dish washing area. Please note that opening times of these can vary. There are also basic accessible facilities. Paid WiFi is available onsite, please see a member of the team at reception to connect.

The Engine Inn pub is a 25 minute walk via a public footpath and there are further pubs within a 20 minute drive. There are also cafes, bars, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets in St Ives, a five minute drive away.

The campsite is very basic but has what is needed and much cheaper than other campsites anywhere near St Ives. It is nice and quiet and very peaceful. No issues using bathrooms or cleaning facilities, even at busy times. On site food truck was great but not open consistently. Would be much better if the on-site pub was open.
