Nestled at the foot of Blencathra, Low Hollows provides an ideal base for exploring the Lake District, just ten minutes outside of Keswick. The family and dog friendly site is home to 50 spacious, non electric grass pitches for tents only. Within a 15 minute drive of Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Helvellyn, Aira Force Waterfall and Ullswater, guests can enjoy outdoor adventures before heading back to site for a relaxing paddle in the stream and a BBQ!

About the site
If you are looking for a back-to-basics site for your next Lake District adventure then look no further. This pop up campsite is situated in the north of the national park, within a ten minute drive of Keswick, Skiddaw and Helvellyn for days of hiking, along with Dertwentwater and Ullswater for water sports and boat trips! There are a total of 50 non electric grass pitches, each measuring 6m x 6m. Each pitch allows up to four guests, suitable for tents only, set on a gently sloping field with plenty of surrounding space for kids to play. The views of the surrounding countryside and mountains are also the perfect site to wake up to. Please note that some pitches may be on a slight slope. There is also a camping barn onsite, sleeping two with shared facilities. The site neighbours a gentle stream too, perfect for soaking your feet after a long climb. Within a 20 minute walk you will find a coffee shop and country pubs, great for a delicious meal and tipple to end the day! Evenings can also be spent cooking up a delicious BBQ at your pitch, and there is even a local farm shop within a five minute drive for picking up the supplies. Please make sure that BBQs are raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted. Dogs are welcome here too, with up to one pup permitted per pitch.
Low Hollows is open for Easter weekend, May bank holiday weekends and then weekends from June to 20th September. Stay from £24/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
