About the site

Experience the wonderful Dorset countryside in a 13 acre camping field. Don't miss the views, gazing out across lovely Weymouth Bay and Dorset's famous rolling hills. Dorchester is just a 15 minute drive from the site, too, with plenty to explore. All of the pitches are on grass, ideal for tents or motorhomes/campervans, with plenty of space between to ensure everyone can relax and unwind. This is a family run space, nestled in a sweet country hamlet, and yet just a handy 20 minutes from Weymouth with its sandy beach, picturesque harbour and amenities. Only a 15 minute walk from a pub and the rocky beach. You can also enjoy days out without even getting in the car. Next door to the site, you will also find Wally's Lake and Meadow Lake, great for any keen fishermen. Rosewall Equestrian can also offer riding lessons for first timers or seasoned pros, so there is plenty to keep everyone busy! Both the riding and fishing need booking in advance. The site is dog friendly, so bring your canine companion along. The South West Coast Path also runs past the site and is a great route to stroll along. Don't forget to pack your marshmallows, as the site allows raised fire pits. BBQs are also welcome as long as they are raised from the ground. Disposable BBQs are not permitted.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

i dropped the facilities down to a four as the showers took ages to get hot water and there wasn't much pressure - was like standing under a watering can! The site was amazing though and the staff were lovely

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

My friends and I spent a fabulous four day break at Rosewall, the location of the site is gorgeous and the facilities were very accessible, extremely clean and well maintained. There was plenty to keep us entertained within walking distance and we had a lovely view of the sea and also managed to see some of the lunar eclipse! I would definitely recommend this site!
