A note from the site themselves...
We wanted to create a small site, just for smaller campervans, off the beaten track and away from the hustle and bustle. Our views are amazing, and the campervans get to wake up every morning looking across the valley to Blencathra/Saddleback.
Our wonderful dark skies are also a huge draw for guests - campers get to sit back and marvel at the Orion Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, the Milky Way and many other magnificent star constellations.

The location is off the A66 down a very steep farm track, although the VW transporter made it up there it was wheel spinning in parts. All terrain tyres would be highly recommended.
The parking is literally on a field which is not the flattest, really nice views but very open to the elements, wind swept I would say.
They doesn't appear to be any direct walking roots from the location. If you like remote location with next facilities then this would be lovely. The toilet and shower room was clean and adequate.
Overall, a nice place just too remote for us.
Excellent

One of the best sites we've been to. Stunning views, immaculate shower block, with very helpful friendly owners (a handy tractor for getting you on the move when your starter motor is having an off day 😱😱😢).
Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay.
Amazing Site!
