About the site

Located within ten minutes from Ingleton and the charming Yorkshire Dales National Park, these bespoke, top-of-the-range glamping pods are handmade and designed to offer real comfort alongside great views. Inside each pod you'll be treated to a kitchen area with a sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and food preparation area. Everything you need to make and serve a meal, plus enjoy a bottle of wine, is there for you - just hit the shops to choose your ingredients. There are also ensuite shower and toilet facilities. You'll also find full size real beds with bed linen, including pillows and duvets. The stylish glamping cabins have electric lighting, sockets and USB ports, plus heating to keep you toasty. A 32" TV screen with Freeview channels is on the wall for when you fancy kicking back and relaxing. The pods' interior includes a compact table for dining or you can eat out on the patio and covered deck in the fresh air while cooking up a BBQ. Disposable BBQs can be bought from the nearby shop.

Facilities within the pods are self contained, including a fully equipped kitchenette area and ensuite toilet, basin and shower. The pods enjoy complimentary WiFi as well as good 4G and phone signal.

Also onsite is an 18 hole golf course, an eight bay driving range and the 1922 kitchen/bar (daytime only, seasonal opening times apply). River fishing is available at the site's sister site, Riverside Caravan Park (5 minutes), at a discounted rate. Please ensure you bring your E.A Rod licence. River fishing is available from 17th March - 30th September.

The village of High Bentham is a ten minute walk away, along a street with lit pavement. The village itself has four pubs, two Indian takeaways (one is also a restaurant), a Chinese takeaway, a fish and chip shop, a Spar and Co-op as well as several cafe-cum-bistros.

Most impressed. Cabin was clean, warm and dry, and well equipped. Outlook was pleasant and very quiet. Location is great, loads of outdoors stuff to do in the area. The local town had shops and a decent pub for evening food, so all was good. Heating in the hut was great (as was the insulation) and we had plentiful hot water and a great shower. All good.

We really loved our stay. Everything was clean & spotless. The shower was lovely after a days walking. A very spacious cabin & lovely comfortable bed. Giving only 4 stars for the value for money & facilities just to the lacking of cooking facilities (possibly a small hob). Apart from that we could not fault. Views were overlooking the golf course were truly stunning. Definitely would recommend & will be visiting again.

We're the Marshalls, your friendly hosts at Wenningdale Escapes! We've been in the holiday business since the 1990s, and we're thrilled to welcome you to our little slice of paradise.

You see, we're not just any old holiday spot. We started with Riverside Caravan Park and Bentham Golf Course, and as we lovingly tended to those, it hit us - why not share our location with staying guests? So, we decided to spruce up the golf course, making it even more picturesque, and added some top-notch accommodation.

Things to do on site and in the High Bentham area

There are an abundance of activities on the doorstep including golf on the site's own 18 hole golf course and driving range.

There are great walking routes in the area and road and mountain cycling tracks available from the park. You could even book a horse riding session and explore on a hack.

Nearby Ingleton is famous for the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, White Scar Caves and the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks route.

Or if that all sounds like too much effort, just relax! You don't need to go anywhere on a lovely clear day. Just sit back and enjoy the view!
