About the site
A warm welcome awaits you at Looe Country Park. A family run caravan and camping park nestled down a quiet lane with lovely views of the unspoilt and rolling countryside of South East Cornwall. The site has a barrier to access and a manned office and shop for your assistance and pleasure. The grass and hardstanding pitches are bigger than average and individually marked. They come with water points within easy reach and plenty of electric hook-up points. Some pitches are fully serviced to include water, drainage and electric. Others offer space for an awning and you can bring a pup tent or extra car*. You can park by your pitch for easy access to your car or van. All pitches are easy to access as caravans, motorhomes and tents are positioned within two sectioned areas of the campsite. Some pitches are separated by hedges to allow for more privacy. There are also some numbered pitches that can be booked alongside each other. Families and friends travelling together who want separate accommodation find this arrangement quite helpful. There are also five immaculately kept caravan holiday homes with decking outside and dog-friendly options. You can choose from a two bedroom or a three bedroom. They also have lovely views over the valley towards the West. If you fancy staying in a camping pod and want to take a dog with you, the site has two pods, located in a quiet section of the park. Each pod has seating and a small dining table inside that converts into a double bed. They also have glamping style cooking facilities such as a small gas hob and a microwave, as well as cups, glasses, cutlery and a wash basin. Also within the kitchenette is a fridge/freezer for you to store your own food and frozen items. For the full 'camping' experience, remember to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags and your own towels for showering, if staying in the Pods. Some people like to take their own chopping boards, chopping knives and food storage containers. Remember the dog bed too.
