VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2026

A lovely place to stay. Everyone very welcoming and the cider is first class. Beautiful surroundings but be warned, this site is only for the smaller types of campervan as you park between the trees on the orchard. But it's very original, friendly and pretty.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

This is a lovely family run cider orchard. We loved camping in amongst the trees and having our own row as this felt very private. The site is lovely. The cider tour was insightful.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Fantastic, very well-run small campsite for tents only with great facilities at a working cider farm. It was so amazing to be able to camp among the beautiful apple trees! The limited number of pitches and the wide isles between the rows of trees means there's a lot of privacy, as most people also stagger their tents. The owners are very friendly, approachable and super helpful. Great facilities, especially the fire pits that comes with each pitch was a real bonus. the cider cafe and shop apart from great to taste some great ciders and apple juice also does good coffee and teas, and was handy for WiFi as there's a very limited phone signal out in the orchard. We also enjoyed the garden with beautiful sculptures and picnic benches out at the front. A great place to unwind and enjoy the evenings staring into the campfire or up at the stars, whilst listening to the resident owls….we'll be back!

A note from the site themselves...

Here at the Cider Farm, we are all about family. Back in 2006, when Oliver and Penny Strong were still in the business of making metal sculptures and topiary, they settled with their family on a wildly beautiful cider orchard in West Dorset. They started making cider in 2008. Since then, thanks to the amazing efforts of their family and friends, Dorset Nectar Cider has gone from strength to strength. We're still completely family run and send our ciders throughout the UK.

We welcome guests to stay with us, relax and enjoy the tranquillity of a beautiful, organically managed orchard with abundant birds and wildlife. We hope to welcome you soon, Ryan
