Patteson Lodge camping site is located in the Broads National Park, close by to the beautiful North Norfolk coastline and the city of Norwich. Booked to only one group at a time, there'll be no sharing of facilities with anyone. With space for up to 16 pitches, rally the troops and dig out your camping gear for a fantastic outdoor adventure full of friendship and fun. Camping gear is available for hire.

About the site

Patteson Lodge was created for those larger groups of friends, families and communities looking to create a fantastic camp experience. With space for up to 16 pitches, campers will have the entire 3/4 acre sheltered field for full private use. There is a dry shelter on site with electricity and all you need to for cooking, including a microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer. There's also an abundance of camping styles open to you with altar fires, gas stoves, barbecues and sites for patrol cooking. Firewood is provided from the wood store. Just don't forget to bring the food! Many adventures are to be had on site - challenge your friends to the obstacle course, build a fort in the woods or see who can bounce the highest on the trampoline! As the evening draws to a close, head down to Lady Mayhew Woods nearby to toast marshmallows around the campfire while sharing your favourite memories of the day.

Main camping season is March to end of October however, there may be availability outside of these dates.

Facilities include a dry shelter with all cutlery, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster. The toilet block has three showers and three toilets. There is a separate toilet and shower for people with disabilites.

Coltishall is within 5 minutes walk and has a mini-market, chemist, a fish and chip shop (any bulk orders must be pre-booked) and a local pub.

Site rules and policies

Welcome procedure will be given by staff on arrival, including full details of fire procedure plan, equipment usage, boundaries etc

Cars may be driven onto the field to unload but they must be returned to the car park outside the Lodge for the duration of booking.
