About the site
An ideal location for exploring Dorset and the Jurassic Coast. Enjoy days at the beach with Bowleaze Cove and Durdle Door within a 15 minute drive, or take the 20 minute drive down to Weymouth for some traditional seaside fun. Surrounded by nature reserves, rivers and scenic walking trails, the site is great for a peaceful stay. There are a total of 80 non electric pitches on offer, each around 9m x 9m, allowing both tents and tourers. All of the pitches allow up to six people, perfect for families. If you are in need of an electric hook up, there are also 13 electric 9m x 5m grass pitches with a 10 amp hook up, allowing tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Or, for campervans, caravans and motorhomes, there are ten gravel 9m x 4.5m pitches with a 16 amp hook up. If you want to enjoy nature in style, the park also offers bell tents. The furnished bell tents come equipped with a double bed and two single camp beds with electric, lighting and a heater provided. Outside the tent, you will find a picnic bench and a fire pit equipped with logs. There are also three safari tents sleeping up to two adults and two children. These include a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a kitchen with an electric hob, fridge and kettle. Outside is a covered decking area, a fire pit and a bag of logs. Please note that duvets and pillows are provided in all glamping tents, but bed linen is not provided in any of the glamping units. It may be added to your booking, or you can bring your own. Towels and tea towels are not provided. Glampers have access to the communal toilet and shower facilities. Up to three dogs are welcome on the pitches, bell tents and safari tents for a small charge. There is even an exercise field for them to run around off-lead. Please note that due to dry weather, fire pits and BBQs are temporarily prohibited.
Gravel pitches are available from March until the end of October. Grass pitches and glamping are available from May half term until the end of September. Stay from £18/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
