About the site
Tucked away in peaceful countryside, this spacious park offers something for everyone. There is a luxury onsite spa with beauty and massage treatments, plus fishing ponds, an indoor games barn and fun tractor trailer rides during the high season. A range of spacious pitches welcome tents, trailer tents, campervans, roof tents, caravans and motorhomes. If you want to pitch up on grass, there are electric 20m x 10m pitches, or electric 15m x 15m pitches with private water taps, picnic tables and fire pits! Or, there are fully serviced grass pitches which some with electric, water taps, LED lights and a grey waste drain. These pitches include a wooden decked area where you can set up your table and chairs, or fix your awning. There are also 6m x 8m non electric pitches for tents only. Or, for tourers, there are 10m x 10m hardstanding pitches with electric, water taps, grey waste drains and LED lights. All of the pitches allow a maximum of five guests, with each electric hook up being 16 amps. Adults can enjoy a peaceful glamping experience with a choice of stylish yurts, cosy domes or a fully equipped cabin, each sleeping two. Bedding and towels are included, and the yurts and domes have access to a nearby private bathroom and a large shared glamping kitchen/diner with cooking and washing-up facilities. Yurts and domes both feature a king-size memory foam bed, two-seater sofa, tea and coffee facilities, a small fridge, and a picnic bench with a swing seat outside. Yurts offer USB charging sockets, while domes include full electric sockets, an ensuite toilet with underfloor heating, an electric log burner, and a dining area. To top it all off, each unit comes with a fire pit and a private luxury electric hot tub, perfect for relaxing under the stars. The Lookout glamping cabin enjoys views over the countryside, with a private double bedroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge/freezer, hob, oven/grill and microwave, along with a TV, heating, dining area, sofa and a full ensuite bathroom. Outside, there is a seating area, a fire pit and a hot tub. The camping pitches are dog friendly, allowing up to two pups per pitch. There is also a dog exercise area, a dog wash and a drying area. Do note, the glamping units are pet free. Fire pits are available to hire (if your unit/pitch doesn't already include one), and BBQs are permitted too. Only fire pits from the site are allowed.
Fully serviced pitches, domes and the cabin are open all year. Electric grass pitches and yurts are open from 27th March to October. Stay from £20/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

What time is check-in and check out at The Dorset Hideaway?
Check-in at The Dorset Hideaway is available from 2pm until 6pm for camping and touring and between 3pm and 6pm for glamping, if you are delayed please let the site know. Check out is due before 11am on your last day.
Is The Dorset Hideaway dog-friendly?
Up to two dogs are permitted per pitch at The Dorset Hideaway for a small extra charge. Please note that dogs must be kept on the lead at all times and not left unattended. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted. Sorry, they are not allowed in the glamping units.
Does The Dorset Hideaway allow BBQs and campfires?
Yes. Open fires are only permitted in raised fire pits at The Dorset Hideaway, BBQs must also be raised from the ground. Fire pits are available to hire and firewood is available to purchase from the site.

No. Group bookings are not accepted at The Dorset Hideaway.

Visitors at The Dorset Hideaway are accepted only in low or mid-season, this must be approved by a member of staff prior to their arrival. Visitors must report to reception to sign in and pay the daily visitor fee, all visitors must leave the site by 8pm or pay the overnight fee. Up to a maximum of four visitors are permitted per pitch per day.
