About the site

This is a friendly, family-run campsite, great for enjoying some peace and quiet. Guests can enjoy a lovely 30 minute riverside walk down to the historic town of Lyme Regis, located on the Jurassic Coast with a beach, charming harbour and independent shops. There are stunning views from most of the pitches across the valley. There are pitches to suit small, medium and large tents along with spaces for trailer tents, campervans and motorhomes. Most of the pitches allow up to up to six guests, with a range of sizes to choose from. You also have the option of a 10 amp electric hook up, perfect for all of those essential appliances. For those wanting to leave the tent pegs at home, opt for a stay in either a cosy bell tent or shepherd's hut. The bell tents can sleep up to four, each coming beautifully furnished with a proper double bed, bedding, and towels, plus the option of two camp beds. Inside you will also find 10 amp electric. A basic camp kitchen with all the essentials is included with a single hob camp stove, charcoal BBQ, camping kettle, kitchen utensils, a sharp knife, chopping board, cafeteria, cool box and more. For al fresco dining, there is an outdoor table and benches. Sitting at the top of the site is the shepherd's hut with beautiful views. This sleeps up to two guests with a double bed, bedding and a kitchen area. Outside is a decking with a BBQ and seating. The site is perfect for single travellers, couples and families, all are welcome. For walkers, there is easy access to both The East Devon Way and The South West Coast Path. Dogs are welcome and Lyme Regis is very dog friendly so don't worry about visiting cafes and restaurants - most places accept dogs. Up to two pups are permitted per pitch. For evenings onsite, you can enjoy a gas or charcoal fire or BBQ and toast marshmallows over the fire pit, just please ensure both are raised from the ground. Please note that wood fires are not permitted. There is free wifi and an EV charging point for cars.

The site is open between March and November. Bell tents are available from the April to mid September. Pitches from £19/night for 2 people.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Motorhome PitchesSep 2025

Had a great stay at Hook Farm. Very welcoming and friendly. Clean facilities and cute shop. Only thing to comment on are the temp for the showers couldn't be adjusted (I like a hot shower!) but didn't put me off. Also, the lane leading up to campsite is pretty narrow in places again, not a problem, just something to consider. Great views and amazing sunsets just up the field!

Site's response

We are so pleased that you had a great stay with us and you enjoyed the sunsets.
