About the site

Enjoy a holiday centred around adventure at this family and group friendly activity centre. Set in the scenic Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog), the site enjoys wonderful views across the surrounding landscape, with Llangorse Lake right next door. There are non electric grass pitches suitable for individuals, families and groups. Pitches are unmarked and suitable for tents only, with wheelbarrows available to transport your belongings from the car. Picnic benches are dotted around the camping area, providing a great spot for dining outdoors. If you prefer to travel light, opt for a stay in one of the heated camping pods. The site offers three-person pods with a double and a single bed, alongside four-person pods with four single beds. Each pod includes bedding, linen, lighting, USB points, a fridge and tea and coffee-making facilities for your morning brew. For something a little different, choose one of the giant tipis, available during the summer months. Sleeping up to five, these large traditional tents come with single beds, bottom sheets and pillows, although bedding is not provided. You'll also have an electric point and clothes rail for storage. The Base Camp Cafe is the ideal place to fuel up before a day of activities. With indoor and outdoor seating, it serves a range of freshly prepared meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Onsite, there are also two large bunkhouses, each sleeping up to 26 guests. Both include bunkbed rooms, a large kitchen area and three washrooms. Please note that the site is dog free.

Llangorse Multi Activity Centre is open all year round. Pitches from £24/night for 2 people.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2026

I booked this campsite as I was working in the local area for a couple of weeks. It was a lovely campsite. The lady on reception was very nice and helpful. The toilets and showers were modern and clean. The camping field is on a slight slope, but there are some level (ish) pitches to be found. You can pitch your tent wherever you like, but not too close to the camping pods or other users. You have to park your car either in the top car park, or the one back down the lane at the bottom of the field. There is no access onto the field for vehicles. There are two wheelbarrows to help get your camping equipment onto the field. I was told that I could park in the bottom car park, if I wanted to pitch my tent along the bottom hedge. I'm pleased I didn't because the gate is locked overnight, and was not open even when I left for work at 07:15. The site is pretty quiet after 10pm. Although some families (in the tepees) with very young children could be heard after this time. It did settle down after 11pm though. I think if you're coming with a campervan, you will be offered one of the parking spaces, which isn't as bad as it seems. Parking at the top can be limited at times, but towards the early evening, more spaces appear, as people leave the activity centre. I highly recommend this campsite, as long as you're prepared to trudge up and down the slope with all of your gear. There is a café there during the day, which closes late afternoon.
