About the site

With welcoming hosts and a peaceful countryside setting, this family friendly glamping site is a lovely escape just 35 minutes from sandy beaches. Choose from two traditional Mongolian yurts or three luxury European yurts, each offering a comfortable and unique place to stay. The two Mongolian yurts sleep up to four and five guests. One has a king size bed, two single beds and a sofa bed, while the one sleeping four has a king size bed, one single bed, and a sofa bed. Inside, you'll find a Smart TV, dining table and log burner with furnishings, while outside there's seating and a private fire pit with a BBQ grill attachment. The three luxury European yurts are almost identical, with one 6m yurt sleeping up to four guests and two 7m yurts sleeping up to five. Each has a king size bed, bunk beds, a sofa, dining table, a Smart TV and a wood-burner, with all bedding and towels provided. All five yurts have their own private decking with a wood-fired Hippie Hot Tub outside. It's the ideal spot for al fresco dining and relaxing around the fire pit. Up to two dogs are welcome in each yurt for an additional charge, but they must be kept on a lead. Campfires and BBQs are permitted in the provided units. Please don't move these from where they have been set up, as this is for your safety.

The traditional yurt is available from May until September while the luxury yurts are available all year round. Stay from £114/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Each yurt has its own separate, fully equipped kitchen, hot shower and flushing toilet with a sink. They also each have their own wood-fired Hippie Hot Tub! There are also laundry facilities and a communal fridge.

Electric vehicle charging is available onsite, along with laundry facilities and a fridge for guests' essentials.

The closest pub, Tafarn Beca, is a five minute drive away, while The Lamb of Rhos and Afon Duad Inn are around ten minutes by car. For essentials, there's a Co-op and Nisa Store in Newcastle Emlyn, ten minutes away, as well as various takeaways.

For a larger shop, head to Carmarthen, 25 minutes away, where you'll find a Lidl and a Morrisons.

Highly recommend staying here, the weather wasn't on our side but luckily, there is a smart TV, free Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen including cups, plates, cutlery etc. Accommodation was very spacious and spotlessly clean.

Things to do on site and in the Cynwyl Elfed area

New Quay is 35 minutes down the road and has a sandy beach perfect for swimming, or venture close to the cliffs for rockpooling. Here you can also catch a boat trip out to look for bottlenose dolphins!

Pop along to the Cenarth Falls (15 minutes), a series of small pools and waterfalls on the River Teifi, which is great for canoeing. There is also a small 13th century mill that overlooks the water.
