About Florence Springs
Escape the noise and bustle with your own peaceful, secluded spot surrounded by wildflowers. With a few little luxuries, this Pembrokeshire campsite offers an idyllic restful spot to unwind. Tents, and trailer tents, whose owners don't mind wheeling them by hand from the car park, are welcome on the site's three premium camping pitches for up to six guests. These private pitches are each nestled into the picturesque countryside, each with its own private space so there is no need to worry about noisy neighbours. Each also has the luxury of a stargazing bench, charcoal BBQ, fire pit and an undercover seating and cooking area where you can use your own equipment to whip up some al fresco delights. Not to mention toasting marshmallows under the stars! Be at one with nature and make use of the eco-friendly compost toilets or take a short walk to the nearby shower block where you'll find a touch of luxury, and electricity! Keen fishermen can also make use of the two private fishing lakes, along with the neighbouring pitch and putt golf course, free of charge. The site also offers glamping with two stunning, locally handcrafted treehouses, four uniquely quirky woodland hideaways, five beautiful Mongolian yurts and two luxurious safari tents. You can even bring the dog, with up to two allowed per pitch!

Each pitch has a covered sitting/cooking area, fire pit, BBQ and stargazing benches. Shared facilities include compost and flushing toilets and a nearby shower block with large freezers for ice block freezing. Private charging lockers are also available to recharge electrical items.
The nearest shop is St. Florence Village Store, and the closest pub is The Sun Inn, both a five minute drive away.

I absolutely loved this campsite! As a Canadian who has done lots of camping throughout my lifetime, I would say hands down this is the best campsite I've been to in the UK. The staff were extremely friendly. When we arrived, they welcomed us and helped us get all our stuff settled into our campsite, and also gave us great restaurant recommendations. The camping plots themselves I really liked as they are large, secluded and give you lots of privacy. Not far from our plot there's a main block which has showers, a dishwashing area, kettle, microwave and Wi-Fi. There are also lots of great things for kids to do around the campsite so it is very family friendly. The location of the campsite is also extremely convenient as it is a short drive from Tenby town centre. Overall, I really loved this campsite and enjoyed my time here, I will definitely be camping here again in the future!

We had a lovely secluded spot for our tent for a long weekend. The set up is lovely. The under cover cooking area is a fantastic idea. If the staff aren't about, they're only a phone call away and are quick to respond to any requirements. The only small negative are the showers. They are push button controlled and don't stay on for very long...but we managed ok. Tenby is only a 10 minute drive away. We will be returning next year for camping.

Great private pitches but ground impossible to pitch tent pegs. Too shallow with lots of stone underneath. Eco toilets smelt too much for to use and main block was too far a walk for little ones in night.

Thanks for your review, Ritchie. We're sorry to hear that everything wasn't quite up to your expectations. We strive for all of our guests to have a brilliant time with us. We've never heard of any other guests having trouble with the ground being too hard, but we will look into this immediately. For future reference, had you requested a pitch closer to the toilet block before your stay, we certainly could have made this happen for you so it was a bit easier for the young children. Our compost toilets (like all others) are designed not to smell if all guests are using them correctly. If you had made any smells aware to a warden during your stay, we could have sorted this for you immediately. We hope to see you again with us in future, and please be assured that any problems you have during your stay can be reported for our friendly team to come and resolve.

There are two tempting private fishing lakes on site, one offering trout and the other coarse fishing, great places to relax and get away from it all. From the lakes, you can see an 13-hole golf course, which you can book and then work on your swing.
