Escape to the beauty of the Carno Valley with Cwmllwyd Getaways, the perfect destination for a luxury getaway. Nestled in lush green fields, this site offers a romantic and serene retreat for couples and a fun-filled adventure for families and friends. Located just off the A470, guests can explore the rugged Welsh landscape, including Snowdonia National Park to the north and the Cambrian Mountains and Cardigan Bay to the west. However, with stunning views and luxurious amenities, you might not want to venture far at all. Guests can choose from three luxurious units, including two spacious cabins and a cosy converted carriage, all offering a bespoke and modern interior. All are equipped with self-catering facilities, heating, towels and WiFi. Cefnbirth Carriage is the perfect destination for a romantic and relaxing break. Sleeping up to two, the modern and spacious converted carriage offers a comfy king-size bed, a modern en-suite shower room, large windows, and a private garden area featuring an electric hot tub. Just imagine stargazing with a glass of wine in hand! Sleeping two-four, the luxury cabins are perfect for those who want to enjoy the fresh air in the countryside. Each cabin offers a spacious living area with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a bespoke king-size bedroom, a modern en-suite shower room, and a private decking area with an electric hot tub. Relax and unwind as you listen to the soothing sounds of grazing livestock and bird songs, and by night, indulge in some star gazing while soaking in your own private hot tub. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.

We love it at Cwmllwyd Geatawys, it was our second time back! First time I booked it for my fellas birthday and we couldn't wait to come back! The cabin is lovely and clean. The bed is soo comfy, slept like a log! Kitchen is fully equipped. We cooked breakfast and bought a couple of dine in for two meal deals, cooked them in the oven and came out delicious ππ» Wi-Fi is good, radio is dab and has bluetooth connect your phone. Never get tired of those views! We sat out having tea watching the sun start to set - stunning. We had neighbours in the opposite field this time, sheep and baby lambs, soo cute! The hot tub was so relaxing with a drink in hand looking at the view, so picturesque especially on a clear starry night. Great place to either chill out or go on an adventure, there is a travel guide book with lots of lovey places to visit only an hour away from the cabin. Highly recommend! Thank you for being so helpful from booking to arrival, we can't wait to return again!

Things to do on site and in the Carno area
Close by, you'll find plenty of walking and cycle trails, perfect for those looking to get out and explore nature. Otherwise, the site is located just off the A470, so it's an easy drive to some top best attractions.
It's around an hour's drive to the Snowdonia National Park, where you'll enjoy a great variety of activities, such as Zip World and plenty of walking opportunities. Hikers can tackle Cadir Idris, see waterfalls at Swallow Falls as well as the Rhinogydd Mountains.
You can visit Hafren Forest (50 minutes) with woodland walks, and waterfalls such as the Severn Break its Neck waterfall and Blaenhafren Falls
The smaller resort of Aberdovey (Aberdyfi) is around an hour's drive away, with a beautiful beach and plenty of watersports.
