Set on Dartington Estate: Our serene, family-run campsite is located within the rolling 1,200‑acre Dartington Estate, where the medieval Dartington Hall and Grade II* listed gardens create a backdrop of heritage and tranquility Scenic Countryside Views: Pitch your tent or park your campervan surrounded by woodland and farmland, with impressive views across the estate toward Dartmoor and perhaps a glimpse of kingfishers or otters along the River Dart Genuine & Personal: Feel the relaxed charm of a small, owner-operated retreat — ideal for walkers, dog-lovers, couples, families, and solo travellers. Comfortable Facilities: Clean, well‑maintained showers, toilets, and washing-up areas with drinking water and electrical points, toilet & shower, and wash up facilities. For tents, there are 27 grass 10m x 10m pitches without electric, and there are eight grass 8m x 12m pitches, also without electric, for campervans only. These are surrounded by woodland and farmland, with impressive views across the estate toward Dartmoor. If you want to leave the tent pegs at home, there are seven cosy camping pods. The pods sleep up to two in a double bed with bedding provided, along with towels, a dining area and heating. Shared campsite facilities can be found within a short stroll. For those wanting to cook up their own dinner, raised fire pits and BBQs are permitted. Up to three dogs are welcome per pitch. There's even an off lead area for walking canine companions.
