About the site

Set by the River Yeo, this peaceful adult only park offers a relaxing stay with views over the Mendip Hills. Ideally located for exploring on foot, the site is just a short stroll from the charming village of Cheddar, well know for its delicious cheese and famous gorge and caves. For tent campers, there are 15 non electric grass pitches, each 4m x 6m. If holidaying in your campervan, you can also pitch up on one of the five 2.5m x 6m non electric grass pitches. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are welcome on the 9m x 9m hardstanding touring pitches. Each of these pitches comes with a grassed area and 10 amp electric hook up, with some even enjoying views over the river. The site also offers five camping pods, each allowing up to two adults. The pods have two single beds that can be pushed together to make a double, along with a kettle, heater and electric plug sockets inside. You will need to bring your camping and cooking equipment. Onsite you will also find a selection of static caravans, along with holiday apartments. Dogs can also join you for your stay, and the area is great for walking routes. Up to two four-legged friends and welcome per pitch and in the camping pods. For evenings at your pitch, you are welcome to bring along a BBQ for some outdoor cooking, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Open fires are not permitted.
