The site offers a range of non electric grass pitches for tents,and tourers, set on a flat field with countryside views all around. Facilities are simple with portable toilets (no showers), and space for kids to play. A country pub is in the local village (a 25 minute walk), with Chatsworth House a 25 minute drive away!

About the site
This is a quiet, back-to-basics site set in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Surrounded by open countryside, guests can enjoy countryside views and even farm animals for neighbours. For days out, you are also within 15 minutes of Buxton, Monsal Dale and Poole's Cavern! There are 50 non electric grass tent pitches, each a generous 10m x 10m and allowing up to six people. There are also three non electric touring pitches, also 10m x 10m, allowing up to eight people and suitable for campervans, caravans and motorhomes, including roof tents. This is a true back-to-nature stay. Facilities are simple, with unisex portable toilets and an outdoor washing-up area. There are no showers onsite, so guests may want access to their own! There are plenty of walking routes nearby, with some footpaths starting right from the farm. Within 15 minutes, visitors can reach Monsal Dale, Monsal Head Viaduct and Headstone Tunnel, all offering some of the most famous views in the Peak District. Curbar Edge is around 20 minutes away, with dramatic rocky scenery too! BBQs and campfires are welcome, perfect for cooking up a tasty dinner or toasting marshmallows. Up to two dogs are allowed per pitch, so four-legged friends can enjoy the countryside too.
The site is open the first two weekends in April, the weekends of May 1st, 22nd and 29th, and all weekends in June, July and August.
