About the site

This family run site has been mixing camping with great sea views since it opened all the way back in the 40s. A lot of things may have changed since then, but one thing stays constant - from the South West Coast Path. Sensational open vistas come with every pitch. The site is in the village of Mortehoe which is a five minute walk. The village has 2 pubs, a post office, two takeaways and a tea room. If you're staying under canvas, you'll have room to get comfy over a set of fields, with the freedom to choose your non electric pitch as soon as you get there. The setting is truly superb. Bringing the tourer? You'll be treated to hardstanding electric pitches with TV aerial connections, too.

Things to do on site and in the Woolacombe area

From crystal clear rock pools and to majestic cliffs and craggy coves, this coastline has so much to offer. Ramble it all and then top it all off with the best of beaches.

You'll love Woolacombe's soft sands, top surfing waves and great atmosphere, but you can also enjoy beachy days just a 500 yards walk from site at Rockham. Choices, choices!

Why not hop aboard a boat from nearby Lundy Island and meet the wildlife? Or, if you'd rather stay on dry land, you can't miss the stunning Exmoor National Park, only around 30 minutes from site.
