About the site
Set on a five acre organic smallholding at the foothills of the Preseli Hills, Patch of the Planet offers a peaceful and remote family friendly getaway. A rural setting with an array of wildlife including the resident sheep, Marlow and Wen, and in close proximity to Pembrokeshire's stunning beaches, Newgale and Broad Haven. This truly is the ideal site for being in harmony with nature. Unwind and take in the stunning views of the Pembrokeshire countryside from one of three pitches. Bring your own tent and stay on the non-electric grass pitch, Yarrow. Suitable for up to five people, this spacious pitch gives the traditional camping feel. Leave the tent behind and opt for Clover the cosy unfurnished bell tent, perfect for up to four people. Bring your home comforts without the hassle of pitching a tent. If you're looking to travel even lighter than look no further than Comfrey, a fully furnished bell tent suitable for four people and furnished to your personal requirements. Just let the site know your preference and they can prepare the tent with a double bed and up to two singles. All pitches have their own picnic table and a firepit with a complimentary bag of firewood. Perfect for spending your evenings toasting marshmallows, enjoying the quiet, and seeing who can spot the bats and badgers. With sustainability at the heart of the site, every pitch is provided with its very own salad and herb patch where you can help yourself to organic and fresh produce. You can also buy fresh food and eggs onsite, all locally and sustainably sourced. No dogs are allowed onsite. The site is licensed by the Woodland Champions Club, helping landowners create and manage woodland for the public to enjoy.
