Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Caravan PitchesMay 2025
Beautiful setting and lovely looking site. Shame the toilets were dirty, no toilet roll and needed cleaning more regularly. Wi-Fi really poor.
Great site but upkeep of facilities very disappointing

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Caravan PitchesMay 2025
Great location, real shame about the upkeep of the facilities. The actual facilities available are good, they seem quite a modern toilet/shower block, good area to wash up, nice play area for kids, but they were filthy and were not a pleasant experience to use.
The first day, there was no loo roll in either the men's or ladies' loos. Some loo roll did appear on the second day but it soon ran out again. The floors of the toilet/shower block were disgusting (including mess on the floor of one of the loo cubicles - that was never cleaned up the whole time we were there.) There were bits of toilet paper and other debris on the floors which suggests that for the 4 days we were there, the floors had not been cleaned. The sinks were certainly never cleaned.
The bins in the bin area and by the play area were overflowing and the washing up area had clearly not been cleaned for some time either. I tried to give zero stars for cleanliness but it would not let me submit the review with no stars, hence the 1 star for cleanliness.
Overall for £70 a night, it was a massive disappointment. A real shame, as with a simple bit of cleaning and upkeep, this would have been a great stay.
Lovely stay, will return

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025
We had a lovely 2 night stay at this campsite.
Gorgeous wooded camping area (non-electric), close to the children's play area, so we felt totally safe letting the kids free roam the play park. An ice cream van even came around the campsite one evening which the kids loved. Modern shower and toilet block, and a short drive to a couple of good pubs for food.
We've already booked to return in August!
