A note from the site themselves...

We are Tim and Emma, and we're the brains (and hearts) behind Cuckoo Fen. We've always been passionate about camping. Whether it's just the two of us, our kids, or our trusty four-legged companion, we've spent our lives under canvas, and we couldn't be happier about it.

So, when the opportunity to transform our beloved pastime into a full-time gig came knocking, we jumped at it. And guess what? We have the incredible folks over at Albany Farm, the rare breed farmers from Hereford, to thank for making Cuckoo Fen a reality.

So, if you're itching for a camping experience that's as close to nature as it gets, we might be the ideal spot. We can't wait to share our passion with you and hope to see you soon!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2023

Cuckoo Fen was the epitome of how camping should be. A wonderful countryside location that managed to cater for all age groups with great success. The pitches are well spaced with great views and plenty of walking opportunities in the local area and it was wonderful to have a fire pit available too. Facilities were clean and tidy, and the little 'shop in a tent' was a great idea. As was the wood fired pizzas and 'Cool Beans' coffee van, which popped onto the site on the weekend mornings, also selling Danish pastries and croissants. Very much appreciated. In all, well run, clean and exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

Amazing campsite!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2023

Tim’s campsite is fantastic. It’s in a picturesque field with incredible shower, toilet and washing up facilities. You get use of a fire pit and grill to make meals, or on Fridays there are homemade wood fired pizzas, and in the mornings a coffee truck comes. It’s a place to properly switch off!

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent PitchesJul 2023

We stayed for just a night to meet with the rest of our party to travel on. We've stayed once before and weren't disappointed. The site is very quiet and friendly. There's an honesty box in a tent full of essentials and you can also borrow a fire pit. We did this and bought a bag of logs and some marshmallows from the tent which we enjoyed toasting. The logs were £9 a bag and we had a fire all evening and left what we didn't use. We went for a walk in the evening and saw rabbits as well as a deer and her two babies. It's a lovely site which I'd happily stay at again.
