About the site

Set across 12 acres with coastal and countryside views, this family-run park is the perfect base for exploring Cornwall. Ideally suited to couples and families, it offers a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle. The park welcomes tents, touring caravans, and motorhomes, with spacious, well-maintained grass and hardstanding pitches. All include a 10 amp electric hookup. Thoughtfully divided with hedging and shrubs, every large pitch offers a sense of privacy and your own personal space. Spend days unwinding by the outdoor heated pool, complete with a licensed bar and poolside waiter service, or have a game of tennis on the all-weather tennis courts. Little ones can enjoy the adventure playground. Hemmick Beach is five minutes away, and St Austell is a 20 minute drive away, home to eateries, parks, and cycling trails. Dogs are welcome to join your stay, and there is a one-acre dog walking meadow for them to explore. Please note that dogs are not allowed in any of the facilities, but there is a designated area for you to enjoy food and drinks with your four-legged friend nearby. Facilities include toilets, showers operated by motion sensors, and accessible rooms. These are closed for cleaning every day between 12pm and 1pm. There is a 24 hour laundry area with coin-operated washing machines and dryers, as well as a washing up area. Free WiFi is available.

A heated outdoor swimming pool is open from May to September with sun terraces, a licensed bar, and poolside waiter service. There is an all-weather tennis court that can be booked on the hour, for an hour from 9am until 5pm. Children can enjoy the play area and adventure playground.

From May to September, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served by the pool, outdoor terrace or the café. Tea, coffee and cake are available.

At the 16th century 'Park Shop' barn, you will find a range of groceries, beers, wines, spirits and Cornish cider as well as souvenirs, camping equipment and gas. There is also a takeaway service providing freshly cooked food and delicious Cornish cream teas.

The Barley Sheaf and The Crown Inn are both a five minute drive away, and Gorran Stores is also a five minute drive for picking up essentials.

We had a great time at Tregarton Park. The camp site facilities were second to none and the campsite staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I would happily stay at this site again and, in fact, we definitely will go back again. Very easy access to some gorgeous coastal scenery and walks.
