About the site


Located just a 20 minute walk from the golden sands of Porthtowan Beach, this site is the ideal base for a Cornish seaside escape. You'll also be within easy reach of Truro, Perranporth, and the National Trust - Godrevy, all around 20 minutes away by car! Children can burn off energy in the adventure play area or games room, while the onsite tourist information office can help discover local beaches, walks and hidden gems nearby. There's also a well-stocked shop, and after beach days or surf sessions, the wetsuit rinse area is especially handy for washing off sandy gear. Pitches are spread across three-level fields close to the facilities. Guests can choose from electric grass pitches (10m x 10m) for tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes, or fully serviced hardstanding pitches (10m x 9m) complete with a 10 amp hook up, water and grey waste drainage. There's also space for an awning. Dogs are very welcome too, with a dedicated exercise area for them to explore. BBQs are allowed for al fresco dining, provided they are raised off the ground. Bricks are available onsite. Open fires are not permitted.

Guests have access to toilets and showers, as well as family and accessible shower rooms, with hairdryers and shaver points. There is a sheltered washing up area with hot water, four sinks and drainers and a laundry room with two coin-operated washing machines and dryers. A rotary washing line is also available.

Children have access to the play area and games room, including free table tennis and a pool table. There is also a bookswap library, an information leaflet area, a dog exercise area and a wetsuit wash.

The onsite shop is stocked with essentials and a freezer for ice packs, or you can hire them. Free WiFi is available throughout the site.

The Unicorn Porthtowan is a 20 minute walk away for food and drink.

The only issue is there is no many footpaths around the camping to have a walk 👍 otherwise, mega place. Owners are really friendly and looking after everyone. Best regards to a man of many talents 💪🏻 Thanks for flat white ☕️
