About River Valley Holiday Park
Ideally placed by the River Wendick, this park is just a 10 minute drive from the beach, where you can join the South West Coast Path, and the same distance from plenty of amenities in St Austell. Owned and run by a Cornish family, this is the right park to come to for local advice and tips. There are a total of 45 pitches, both standard and large, welcoming campers and tourers with a set of immaculate facilities. They are spacious and level, with electric hook-ups. These well manicured pitches include lawns and hardstanding to suit all weathers. Looking for a home from home? You can hire one of 40 holiday caravans sleeping between four and six guests inside with a spacious and modern interior.

Site facilities include a heated toilet and shower block with a family bathroom and piped music, plus a dedicated accessible wet room. There is also a heated, indoor swimming pool, fun games room, lending library and shop on site.
Bike hire is available just a short way from site. The Polgooth Inn, less than 15 minutes walk away, will welcome you with an excellent selection of drinks.

Please note that pets must be kept on a lead at all times and walked outside the park on the adjoining trails or in the neighbouring woods.

First on everyone's list is usually the long, sandy beach which is just minutes from the park at Pentewan and an ideal spot for your family.
Mevagissey is only 10 minutes from your base and is one of the county's prettiest fishing harbours, a place to wander little shops and get to know the slower Cornish pace of life.
Another stellar attraction, the Eden Project, is only 15 minutes away and makes for an unmissable and unique day out.
