There are just a handful of grass pitches for tent campers only, all of which have plenty of space. Bring a torch and take your camping kit down to the hillside pitches. Plenty to do nearby with Dartmoor National Park just 15 minutes away. Dogs welcome onsite.

About Little Harford
Family and dog friendly site with a back-to-basics atmosphere, this peaceful campsite is set just 35 minutes from the coast and lovely beaches such as Teignmouth. There are just five grass pitches onsite without electric hook up. Each one allows a maximum of four people in tents only and is surrounded by woodland. Take your kit down the woodland paths in a wheelbarrow to the hillside pitches and bring a torch for the evenings. Please note, going down the hill takes a level of fitness. Unwind onsite with a good book and feel at peace and listen out for owls, pheasants and other wild birds. The winding path shall take you down to a water meadow and meandering meadow. Dartmoor National Park is also just 15 minutes away by car. A maximum of two dogs are allowed per pitch, just please keep them on the lead. Small campfires are permitted when supervised, but only with the wood available to purchase onsite.
Little Harford is open all year round.
There is a compost toilet onsite but no showers. Water is available from an outside tap at the property for washing up (eco products are provided) as well as drinking water.
The closest pub The King Arms Inn is just a five minute drive away. For food shops, head into Crediton 15 minutes away where you'll find a Morrisons and Tesco.

What a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by woodland, hills and very peaceful. Perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds. Rachel is a wonderful host and it was an absolute pleasure to meet her!

My partner and I had an absolutely lovely time at Little Harford. It's a gorgeous, quiet campsite where you can really enjoy the serenity of the surroundings without other campers being on top of you. The surrounding property is also stunning and Rachel was so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

This is such a unique and lovely place - very secluded and natural. Rachel could not have been more helpful and friendly. The compost toilet was great- clean and well designed. The lanes leading to it were pretty narrow, but it was worth it for the peace and quiet on arrival! Really loved meeting Rachel and staying on her hardstanding in our van. The location was so peaceful and there were pheasants wandering about on the paths under the trees. We loved it! Back again soon.
