About Giddy Farm

Welcoming both families and dogs, this glamping site is the ideal spot to escape the modern world for a peaceful back-to-nature glamping experience. Surrounded by North Devon's beautiful countryside and within an easy drive of Croyde Bay and Woolacombe! Stargazing is fantastic at this site, thanks to the brilliant dark skies. There are just four bell tents onsite, some sleeping up to three with two single futons and a single airbed, and others sleeping up to five with a double futon and three single airbeds. The bell tents are equipped with thick mats, soft rugs and extra air beds that can be added for kids. Please bring your own bedding and camping equipment. Outside each is a picnic bench, fire pit and BBQ for relaxing evenings in the open, toasting marshmallows. Be sure to sit back and gaze up and enjoy the starry night sky above, you might even catch a glimpse of a meteor shower! The site is just a ten minute drive from the beaches at Combe Martin, great for days of swimming and sunbathing, or head to the harbour at Ilfracombe and stroll around the pretty town and shops. There is also plenty of space around for games, and be sure to say hello to the goats! Dogs are welcome in the bell tents, but please ensure that they are kept under control at all times due to working farms nearby. One dog is included in your booking, you may add an extra for a small fee. Campfires and BBQs are permitted in the provided fire pits. Firewood can be purchased onsite. Guests are advised to bring a torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

The site is open from 23rd May until 9th June, and then again from 30th July until 7th September

A note from the site themselves...

Our site is in the beautifull North Devon countryside where we call home. Its important to us that we take care of the environment and protect all the wild animals and birds that visit our little farm. We work hard to be eco friendly and sustainable and we are always trying to improve habitats for the wildlife including planting hedges and trees.

It's a real privilege to be able to share all of this with our guests. We have tried to create a simple campsite that we would want to go on holiday to but with all the facilities you need to make it a lovely place to stay.

We hope to welcome you soon, Gina and Joe
