About the site

This relaxed camping spot in Christchurch offers a fun and memorable stay for you and the whole family. Set amongst lovely countryside, Bournemouth is right on your doorstep which makes for a perfect day at the seaside. There are back-to-basics tent pitches set on fairly level ground, without electric. Fires on raised fire pits are welcome and you can purchase logs and kindle on site. The three pre-pitched bell tents each sleep up to six people, just bring your own camping equipment. There are also four bell tents furnished with four single or two double beds, please make sure to bring your own bedding and towels. The campsite is within the grounds of Parley Golf Centre, where you're welcome to practice your golfing skills. It's a "car free" campsite making it a safe place for everyone and plenty of space for children to run free. There is a car park just a few feet away. Please note, there may be some overhead noise from the nearby Bournemouth airport. Dogs are welcome but please keep them on leads and make sure they are under control at all times.

Parley Court Camping is open from 04/07 to 20/07 and 23/07 to 31/08.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was friendly, clean and peaceful. The staff were so helpful, hot showers and a hygienic kitchen made our stay. Child and dog friendly too, we will be back next year. Highly recommend

Haven't been camping in years but thought I'd take my son for the 1st time. We struggled to put our tent up, luckily some kind neighbours that had pitched up near us offered us a helping hand and it was successfully put up, so we were very happy! Adrian, the guy who checked us in, was very welcoming! Very chilled out! The campsite was basic but had everything you would need at a basic campsite, it was in a great location. The only negative I have is the sound of the planes, it's very loud when you're trying to sleep but being opposite an airport, you have to expect this 🤷‍♀️ Apart from that, the location was great, clean and tidy, I will definitely be returning again!

Bell Tent - Furnished Bell TentsAug 2025

Lovely site, good size tents. Myself and my two friends had plenty of room in the tent, would also be perfect for a family of 4. I really appreciated the bug nets on the tents and the barbeque/fire pit at a small extra fee. Toilets and showers were great, not your typical camping porta potty, proper toilets, which was lovely. The campsite is located right next to Bournemouth airport, I found the noises very calming and great views of the planes arriving at the airport. The guy who runs it is lovely too, very helpful and easy to contact. We had a great time, I just wish we had booked a longer stay!

Is Parley Court Camping dog friendly?

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome per stay provided they are not a breed/crossbreed listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act and are kept on a lead whilst at the site.

Are BBQs/campfires allowed at Parley Court Camping?

BBQs raised off the ground are welcome as well as campfires on raised fire pits - logs and kindling are sold onsite. Open campfires are not permitted.

What time is check-in/out at Parley Court Camping?

Check-in is between 2pm-7pm and you must vacate your tent pitch by 11am on day of departure.
