There is the Kart Circuit which hosts both British and National championships, and just two miles away is the Dorset Shooting Ground. Whether you want to participate or support your favourite competitors there is something for everyone.

The County town of Dorchester is just a short drive away, with its traditional shopping centre and excellent museums and places of interest to visit, steeped in history it was home to Thomas Hardy, William Barnes and the notorious Judge Jeffries to mention but a few.

You could also head across the Somerset border to Yeovil which is only 30 minutes away and has a traditional shopping centre, Octagon theatre, railway centre and so much more.

Being situated in the heart of Dorset there are many beautiful walks and places of interest on our doorstep such as the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, Bridport with its rope making history and ever popular Saturday and Farmers Markets, Lyme Regis for the Cobb, the renown annual Jazz Festival, or Charmouth for fossil hunting. Perhaps go to Weymouth and see or fish the Chesil beach, home to the Olympic sailing, or to Blandford for the world famous Steam Fair.

These and more could all be just a stones throw from your holiday at Clay Pigeon Caravan Park.
