About Flowerdew Farm

With its farm setting, eco-friendly facilities, and animal encounters, this site is a wonderful destination for a memorable off-grid camping experience. It's set in an ideal location, just a ten minute drive from Bridport and five minute drive from Jurassic Coast beaches. Dorchester is also just a 20 minute drive away. On the farm, guests can enjoy feeding sessions with the animals, alpaca meet-and-greets, and other animal-inspired activities. There are just ten non-electric grass pitches here, ideal for tents only. The camping fields are car-free zones, and wheelbarrows are available for guests to transport their gear to their pitch. If you're not wanting to put up a tent, you can stay in one for the cosy unfurnished bell tents, just bring your camping beds and equipment. The site also offers a charming 3m bell tent that sleeps two. On a raised deck, this beautifully furnished tent features a double bed complete with soft linen and indoor seating. Relax in the cosy outdoor seating area and take in the natural surroundings. Here the atmosphere is both basic and comfortable, with an eco-friendly twist. You'll notice that the site features many upcycled building materials that have been thoughtfully repurposed to minimise the impact on the environment. Guests are encouraged to take eco-friendly products to avoid putting anything toxic on the land. BBQs are allowed, but guests are asked to raise them off the ground and use the logs available for purchase onsite. For those who want to explore the area without using a car, the Jurassic Coaster is right on the doorstep within a 15 minute walk. This site is certified with the Wanderlust Camping Club.

Flowerdew Farm is open from 28/03 to 20/10.

Fantastic place to stay, very friendly staff and good spot to camp. Near a great beach called Hive Cove, if you get a chance to visit, I would highly recommend. Would definitely recommend the site and stay again.
