California Campsite boasts a superb setting within idyllic Dorset countryside just mere minutes from the South West Coast Path. Take in the incredible coastal views over the Needles from the camping field, offering a range of grass pitches for your tent or campervan. Or why not hire the shepherd's hut for a brilliant glamping break? Stag and hen dos welcome.
Only a few minutes from dramatic cliffs and the South West Coast Path, this site is a small site nestling in the meadows of the California Cottage. It's popular for gatherings, scout groups, climbers/walkers and more. Pitches are on grass in the camping field and cater for tents and campervans. If you prefer a glamping option, then a 19th-century shepherd's hut is also available for hire and enjoys a tranquil setting in its own private garden. Take in the views overlooking the seaside and relax with home comforts, including a bed, heating, lighting and a kettle for a morning cuppa. Not only are there spectacular views, but you may also be lucky enough to spot dolphins in the distance! The site is also close to a beautiful white-sand beach just one mile away in Swanage if you fancy a day at the seaside. Dogs are welcome on the campsite but must be kept under control.
