Back of Beyond is set on a 30 acre expanse of Dorset Countryside, offering 80 electric hook-up pitches and 40 camping pitches on the edge of the New Forest. The location is a stone's throw from the South Coast and at the gateway to the spectacular county of Dorset. Our woodland, heathland, lakes and stretch of the Moors River support a wide range of small wild animals, deer and fantastic bird life.

(Please mention

Back of Beyond is set in 30 acres of Dorset countryside. Yet in all this space, we have just 80 pitches, just for adults to allow our guests to relax, free from disturbance, and to facilitate the development of our 'quality-of-life' philosophy for the park.

In addition to the 6 acre caravan park, 18 acres of the park is set aside for woodland. By conservation and stewardship we are improving this area to encourage the abundance of natural wildlife, fauna and flora that is already thriving within our park. Open areas have been created in order to encourage insects, bees and bird life as well as wild flowers. We have already laid many woodchip paths through the woodlands, which we will continue to extend throughout this season allowing customers and dogs to roam at their pleasure.

We welcome all touring units and tents and, for your peace of mind, we are highly secure by location, design and technology.Caravan pitches are all super sized, grass, level and hard. All have 10 amp hook-ups and we usually let you pick your pitch on arrival.

We have 3 main camping areas - Emma's Field, The Warren and Damson. Emma's Field is a beautiful woodland glade for camping (no electric, and no dogs) where guests can get closer to the wildlife. The Warren has 10 amp electric hook-ups for camping pitches, with fresh water supplies nearby. Finally, Damson is a large flat camping area surrounded by trees and adjacent to the lakes and the amenity blocks.

We also have 3 glamping bell tents - Fox Glove, Beach and Rabbit. Each is individual with vintage touches, a proper double bed and sprung mattress and electricity. You will be supplied with a kitchen unit, gas stove and utensils. Cutlery, crockery and seating. We ask that you bring your own bedding as in fitted sheets and duvet cover and pillow cases. We will supply a 10.5 tog duvet and pillows. Apart from your food and a bag you can just turn up and relax.
