The Birley Arms Certificated Location is open to members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club only, offering a great base within 20 mins of the nearest beach and an easy drive from buzzing Preston. Alongside spacious pitches it offers a beer garden and children's play area. Pop into the hotel bar for a real ale or treat yourself to some excellent food - the chef has cooked for royalty and the restaurant has received the Taste of Lancashire award.
About The Birley Arms Certificated Location
This charming hotel is well located for Lancashire countryside, and yet has very convenient access from the M55 and M6. For big days out, there are fast connections to Manchester, the Lakes, Liverpool and even the Yorkshire Dales within an hour or so. The smart local seaside resort is at Lytham St Anne's (around five miles away) which hosts the Lytham Festival and a beachfront with pier, promenade and gardens. This family run caravan site offers just five secluded pitches, all serviced with electric and water. Pitches benefit from low fencing for shelter and include both a hardstanding base and grassed section where you can pop up an awning and relax.

Site facilities include male and female outside toilets and 24 hour access to indoor hot showers and toilets. There is also a children's playground.
An excellent bar serves real ales and a restaurant is also available inside the hotel with a la carte menu, bar menu, main meals (modern British country-style cuisine with a French twist) and a range of breakfasts. Pedal bike hire also available.

Long days in the sun can be spent at Lytham, pottering around historic buildings, picnicking in Ashton Gardens and relaxing on Blue Flag beaches.
An easy 20 minute drive will take you to Blackpool Pleasure Beach where you can have a scream and fill a day with heaps of famous attractions - Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Sealife Centre, Blackpool Comedy Carpet and the famous tower.
