About Nottinghamshire Nature Lakes
Set in 13 acres of woodland enjoy the Nottinghamshire countryside from this family friendly site. Just 20 minutes from Lincoln with its cathedral and castle or enjoy plenty of walks with a lovely nature reserve across the road and the River Trent nearby. Perfect to peg down your tent on one of ten spacious grass pitches without electric or park up the tourer with six electric grass pitches to choose from. Each pitch is level and well maintained with ample space between. There is plenty of space onsite for little ones to run and play as well as having a small play area to keep them entertained. Dogs are more than welcome and there is a designated dog walk area where they can stretch their legs. Camp fires are allowed if they are maintained and supervised responsibly. Do note this campsite is certificated by The Caravan and Camping Club.

Onsite facilities include showers and toilets with hot and cold water as well as a small outdoor play area for children. Free WiFi is available throughout the site.
Just a five minute drive away is Collingham, here you will find a One Stop Shop and a Co-op, a local pub The Royal Oak and a couple of takeaways.

Site rules and policies
Check-in is between 12pm and 5pm Sunday to Thursday and 7pm on Friday and Saturday.
Check out is 11am Monday to Saturdays, Sunday check out is 1pm.
Things to do on site and in the Newark area
Just across from the site is a stunning nature reserve, Spalford Warren, a haven for bird watchers with such a diverse bird community. It also makes for a lovely leisurely stroll where you can spot plenty of wildlife and take in the scenic paths.
A 20 minute drive from the site takes you into Lincoln. You can spend the day exploring the cathedral, the 12th century castle and all the medieval architecture the city has on offer. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes to make the most of the day trip.
There are also plenty of waterways and lakes nearby that make for the perfect fishing getaway. The River Trent is just a short walk away as is Mill Dam Fishery offering a lake boasting with fish.
