Daisy Farm offers a peaceful stay in rural Somerset, ten minutes from Burnham-on-Sea beach and 20 minutes to Cheddar Gorge. For tents, trailer tents, roof tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans there are a range of non electric grass pitches, plus an area for CAMC members only. Meet the onsite donkeys and cows, with country pubs and a village store within a 20 minute walk. Wookey Hole Caves are within 30 minutes too!

About the site


Enjoy a relaxing stay at this traditional adult only campsite. Located on a farm, you will have friendly donkeys and cows as your neighbours, with Mark Village within a 20 minute walk for local amenities. There are 16, unmarked non electric grass pitches. Each pitch allows tents, trailer tents, roof tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans with up to four guests. For Caravan and Motorhome Club members only, there is an additional camping field with 17m x 10m grass pitches, each with a 16 amp hook up. Within a five minute drive of the M5, the site offers easy access to some of Somerset's top attractions. Sandy beaches are only ten minutes away, with Cheddar Gorge and Weston Super Mare Beach 20 minutes from the site, and Wookey Hole, Weston Super Mare Beach and the Mendip Hills within 30 minutes. In the evening, guests are welcome to enjoy cooking over a fire pit or BBQ, just please ensure these are raised from the ground. Dogs can join you for you stay too, with up to two dogs permitted per pitch.

FAQ

Guests can check-in between 1pm and 8pm, with check out due by 12 noon on your final day.

Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Do note, breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted.

You can enjoy a BBQ or cooking over the fire pit, just ensure they are always raised from the ground. In hot and dry weather, these may not be allowed due to safety concerns.

Awnings, gazebos and pup tents are all permitted, just ensure you select these as extras when you book.

Yes, you are welcome to park up next to your pitch!

The site does not offer WiFi.

The Wainbridge Farm and Yardwall Road bus stop are both within a 15 minute stroll. Highbridge and Burnham train station is also within a ten minute drive.

The site operates quiet hours between 9pm and 8.30am. They also request that radios, music and TV be kept at a low volume.

Day visitors are allowed, but they must register and pay a fee at reception, with departure due by 9pm.


Things to do on site and in the Highbridge area

Just ten minutes away is Burnham-on-Sea Beach, where you can enjoy a gentle stroll along the wide sandy shore or relax with an ice cream on the promenade. This charming seaside town also has traditional arcades and a famous lighthouse standing right on the beach.

Only 20 minutes from the site is the dramatic Cheddar Gorge, a natural wonder with limestone cliffs and underground caves to explore. You can take a walk along the clifftop trail or visit the Cheddar Caves to learn about prehistoric times. Don't forget to try some authentic Cheddar cheese while you're there!

Also just 30 minutes away is Wookey Hole, home to magical caves, a mirror maze, and a historic paper mill. There are lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities, perfect for all weathers.
