Ball Hill Farm's ancient, hillside cider orchard has views of the Somerset Levels, the Quantocks and the Mendip Hills. Camp with a proper campfire or stay in a delightful bowtop, gypsy caravan on the farm for a bit of a glamping experience.
Set just 6 miles from Taunton, Langport and Ilminster, guests come here for peace and quiet, and a back-to-nature experience on a 17th century farm. Enjoy the wildlife and farm animals, put your feet up, and sample some farmhouse cider by the campfire! You can camp undisturbed in a 7-acre cider orchard, enjoying an evening under the stars. It's a holiday with a light footprint, set on an organic plot. If you prefer to glamp, try the farm's fully-equipped gypsy caravan which has a wood burning stove, hob, sink and double bed inside.
The site is not currently accepting bookings due to the Coronavirus outbreak. Camping is normally available from March until the middle of November, while the gypsy caravan is available all year round.
