This area of Somerset boasts some of the highest quality dark skies in the UK, great for a night in the hot tub with a glass of your favourite tipple. Romney and Jacob shepherd's huts boast stylish 'English' interiors with a luxurious double bed that can be hidden away in the wall during the day and pulled out when ready for a restful night's sleep. There is also a day bed in each which can be made up into a small bed for a young child with bed rails. The huts also feature an equipped kitchenette, ensuite and a woodburner that provides warmth for those chillier evenings. There are also plenty of cushions and throws to keep things cosy. Bedding and towels are provided, so no need to pack your own! Outside the huts is a decking area with beautiful views over Exmoor National Park, enjoy your morning brew sitting here admiring your surroundings and listening out for the birds. There is also a wood fired hot tub that can be heated for your arrival for an extra fee. The patio also has seating and a fire pit with a tripod and grill, perfect for meals in the open. There is also a holiday cottage available to hire and two other shepherd's huts, Exmoor and Herdwick, onsite. Two bags of logs are provided per night, guests can purchase more if required. Charcoal for the BBQ is available to pre order from the site too. A locally sourced breakfast hamper is also provided on arrival and further meals can be added on request. Guests will have the Quantock Hills AONB on their doorstep, great for wildlife spotting and days spent exploring the countryside. Follow in Coleridge and Wordsworth's footsteps as you venture into the woodlands, moors and farmland. The perfect spot for reconnecting with loved ones, reading a good book and unwinding.
