This family run business offers fantastic facilities and a friendly approach. Located on Leith Hill in the Surrey Hills AONB, it's just an hour from London, and yet packed with country glam. It's set in part of the National Trust's well kept woodland. Here you'll find a selection of cosy shepherds huts, with the handy addition of a large straw bale building, creating a warm central hub which will get everyone settling down together or joining group activities. The glampsite is filled with thoughtful touches. With hammocks swaying in the trees, fire pits for nightly gatherings, fairy lights and lanterns twinkling above. There are seven cosy shepherd's huts, kitted out with comfy bedding, wood burning stoves and wood provided. These must be exclusively hired together. There are two Cosy Huts, each with a double bed (sleeping two), two Cosy+ Huts with a double bed and single bunk in each (sleeping three) and finally three Big Huts, with a double bed in a snug and a large single bed and bunk above (sleeping four). Woodland wedding celebrations at The Green Escape with a beautiful rustic ceremony area amongst the trees, wedding decor and event management. Perfect for an intimate celebration for those free spirited, nature loving couples. The glampsite has all that you need for a stress-free glamping break, so when you leave, you leave refreshed!

Facilities and amenities

There is a straw bale lodge, which offers a warm and sheltered central hub where groups can relax together. It's a perfect space for your group to cook, dine, host meetings etc. and includes a five ring gas hob a well stocked kitchen, board games, sofas and even a piano.

Site facilities include a converted shepherd's hut, which houses two bathrooms with instant hot water showers, a sink, hand wash and hand towels. It even has a wood burning stove to keep you toasty. For the bold outdoor adventurers, there is also a secret shower hidden amongst trees. You'll also have access to two compost toilets which are almost exactly like loos at home - clean and odour free.

Outside you'll find hammocks amongst the trees, a wood fired pizza oven, a BBQ, tripod grill and seated fire pit area and for the young and young at heart 40m zip wire amongst the pine trees.
