Glasfryn Escapes is a small and friendly campsite near Fishguard, welcoming tents, campervans and motorhomes - and offering sea views over Fishguard Bay.
About Glasfryn Escapes
This is a small, quiet and family-run campsite, located just a mile from Fishguard town centre. You'll find you are far enough above the town to see for miles around Fishguard Bay and over towards Dinas Head. The site consists of two sections, a smaller all-access field and a larger camping-only field with a stone circle. There are only 8 pitches in total, ensuring quiet and peaceful stays for guests and there is plenty of room to pitch your tent and run around and explore the field. The top field includes both a hardstanding and some grass pitches with EHUs available, slightly sloping. The bottom field is enclosed, free from cars and kept as a natural area for tents. It offers great views of the village and Goodwick Harbour.

Site facilities are clean, tidy and up to date. There are male and female toilets and shower rooms, and a utility room with communal fridge and freezer, washing up sink and charging sockets. Guests can purchase a small selection of essentials in the Garden Centre shop where there is free Wi-Fi.

Tent camping only pitches in the bottom large field with stone circle, short walk to the facilities.
3 x Top Field Grass Pitches
Slightly sloped grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes overlooking the whole site and views out to sea. Electrical hook-up is available for these pitches.

Site rules and policies
General
Greener Camping Club Certificated Sites are for the exclusive use of its Members. In order to stay at a Greener Camping Club Certificated Site, at least one member of each occupied camping pitch, or pre-erected structure must hold a valid membership to the Greener Camping Club. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year.
The Greener Camping Club accepts no liability for loss or damage to persons or property, arising from the use of its Certificated Sites.
The activities of The Greener Camping Club are guided by The Country Code, Marine Conservation Society Seaside Code and the Caravan Code.
Upon Arrival
The speed limit on Greener Camping Club Certificated Sites is 5 mph.
Members must report to the Site Owner before pitching, or occupying a pre-erected structure and pay any outstanding fees.
Members must produce a valid membership card when requested to do so by the Site Owner.
Members may only pitch where directed to by the Site Owner.
For fire and safety reasons, tents, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes must be pitched so that the outside edge is a minimum of six metres from an adjacent unit (pup tents excepted).
During Your Stay
Members must follow all instructions provided by the Site Owner.
Members must recycle their rubbish and deal with waste water and chemical waste (where permitted) as directed by the Site Owner.
Dogs (where permitted), must be kept on a lead of no more than two metres at all times and never be left unattended.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and there must be no noise or vehicle movements between 10.30pm and 7.30am.
Generators and amplified music are not permitted.
Campfires (where permitted) are not to be left unattended and must be supervised by a responsible adult.
Camping units are not permitted to be left unattended overnight unless agreed with Site Owner.
If the behaviour of a Member, or that of their children or dog(s), causes nuisance to other Members, or there is persistent violation of GCC Rules herein, the Site Owner is empowered to ask the Member to cease the behaviour/violation, or leave the site immediately without refund.
Day visitors are only permitted with the prior agreement of the Site Owner and must report to the Site Owner upon arrival.
Departure Day
Members must vacate their pitch/pre-erected structure on the day of departure at the time requested by the Site Owner.
Vacated pitches/pre-erected structures must be left clear of all personal property and refuse.

Things to do on site and in the Fishguard area
Pembrokeshire boasts some exciting and diverse environments for visitors to explore, from the rolling hills of The Preselis to the sheer cliffs of the coast. With so many places to explore, there is always something new to discover.
Coasteering at Abereiddi bay, where they held the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition, is fantastic. You will have a fantastic time playing in the waves, jumping from the cliffs and splashing in the Blue Lagoon. Celtic Quest Coasteering are the team that provide the best customer experience for when you want to play in the sea.
Down at lower town Fishguard, kayaking will take you on an adventure exploring the coast of Fishguard Bay. On top of a stable kayak you'll head into caves and search out secluded bays.
If you head down to Newgale Beach with a few games, you can enjoy the waves in safety and get on-hand surf tuition, so you'll be standing up surfing the waves in no time.
