Situated on Dinas Head, Dinas Island campsite is accessed from Pwllgwaelod Beach and is within a five minute walk of both Pwllgwaelod and Cwm-yr-Eglwys beaches and the famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The path provides a beautiful walk around the outside of the headland.

About Dinas Island

The site is a 20 min drive from Fishguard Harbour and an ideal place to stop over on the way to or from the ferry port. Dinas Island offers some lovely views towards the Preseli Hills and across Newport Bay for pitches, which are on grass and include electric hook up. Four person and two person self catering cottages also available on site, too.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include a small basic toilet block with separate male and female facilities with two toilets and two sinks in each, a separate shower block with four showers and indoor washing up area, with fridge freezer and washing machine (£3). phone charging is available for a small charge.

The famous Poppet Rocket coastal bus also operates from the bottom of the farm drive giving walkers the option to be dropped off / collected from anywhere along the coast path.

A green field site situated on a working sheep farm, run on solar panels and provides basic local produce on site for our guests, our natural environment is very special to us and we try to farm alongside nature the best we can to preserve it for generations to come

Please park in the entrance of the site and book in to collect your pitch number from the farmhouse.

Guests are welcome to arrive onsite for check-in from 1.30pm

Guests are kindly asked to vacate their pitches by 11.30am on day of departure

All camping fees are due in full before or on arrival.

We kindly ask that:

Dogs to be kept under control at all times

BBQs and fire pits be raised in order not to burn the ground


Walking the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is a major draw in the area and there are three beaches nearby. You're spoiled because two are even within walking distance!

A short walk down the private farm drive takes you to Pwllgwaelod Beach and the Old Sailors pub. This is also the start of the coastal path around Dinas Head or to Fishguard, alternatively there is a private woodland walk which takes you to Cwm-yr-Eglwys beach and the coast path to Newport and beyond.

You'll find horse riding nearby and the Newport Links Golf Course where you can practise your swing. Close too are the historic towns of Fishguard and Newport.
