About Woodland Glamping at Cwmtawe Uchaf Farm
Family friendly pods set in 60 acres of woodland on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, great for a blissful holiday. Guests can meet the resident dogs, ducks and horses! There are two glamping pods, both sleeping four. Each comes with its own wood fired hot tub that offers lovely views of the Cribarth Mountain, perfect for an evening dip. Each pod is equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster as well as crockery and pans for all of your self catering needs. Both have a spacious bedroom with a double bed and clothes storage with bedding provided. In the living area there is a sofa bed, a portable heater and a TV. The pods also have a modern ensuite shower room and outside is a private decking area, seating for alfresco dining and a hot tub. Situated in the Swansea Valleys this site is an ideal place to relax and explore. Choose to sit back and relax in your hot tub listening to the birds, or venture out with great sites to see nearby. Cycle Route 43 sits right next to the site to give guests easy access to Swansea, and Ystradgynlais is just a 20 minute walk from the site with lots of lovely eateries and shops. Your four legged friends are also welcome in both of the pods!
There is a two night minimum stay
The pods each have an ensuite with a toilet, sink and shower as well as an equipped kitchenette with a sink, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is also crockery and pots and pans. There is no WiFi on the site.
There are dogs and horses onsite as well as a small pond, with two ducks. Guests have access to all of the surrounding woodland.
The nearest shop to the site is a Premier just a 15 minute walk from the site. For nights you don't feel like cooking the local pub is the Ynyscedwyn Arms a 30 minute walk from the pods.

Check in is from 3pm and check out is before 10am. Guests are able to self check in with the lockbox.

Things to do on site and in the Ystradgynlais area
The two pods are set in a large field with space for children to play in. Guests are also able to meet the onsite horses and dogs, as well as the two resident ducks in the pond.
Set up a picnic in the woodland where you can wildlife spot with the many bird boxes or try and name all of the types of trees!
Situated at the foot of the Brecon Beacons National Park the site is a great base to explore Craig-y-Nos Country Park or go hiking in Llyn y fan Fawr (20 minutes). The Henrhyd Falls are the tallest waterfall in South Wales and can be reached by a ten minute drive!
To explore Swansea guests may use Cycle Route 43 which is right next to the site and takes you to the city centre, or it is a 30 minute drive. Here, guests can visit the National Waterfront Museum for a bit of maritime history, or meet the animals at Plantasia Tropical Zoo. For a day at the seaside, you can get to Aberavon Beach within a 35 minute drive.
