About the site

Set in the West Midlands countryside, this small site offers a peaceful base where your neighbours are rescued donkeys! The site is just ten minutes from Solihull and makes a great spot to relax, while still being close to local attractions. There are five spacious grass and hardstanding pitches, each 15m x 12m, with optional 16 amp metered electric hook up. They're suitable for campervans, motorhomes, caravans and trailer tents, but you'll need to be a member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club to stay. Facilities are kept simple here, as there are no toilets or showers, so guests will need to have access to their own. However, the farm does sell fresh honey and eggs, perfect for breakfast, with paid WiFi available too. Being part of a working donkey sanctuary, the site is ideal for animal lovers who'd like to meet the cuddly residents and support a good cause. It's also a handy base for days out, with the NEC and M42 within a 15 minute drive, though you may notice some road noise from the nearby A4141. While fires aren't allowed, BBQs are welcome, making it easy to cook up dinner outdoors. The site is dog friendly, with up to two pups allowed per pitch, and there's even a dedicated dog run where they can stretch their legs.

Knowle Donkey Sanctuary Campsite is open all year round in 2025 and 2026.
