A note from the site themselves...

Our glamping site is very special to us as it is based on our working family farm which we have farmed for over 100 years. We have put great thought and detail into all of our spaces to make them a unique and immersive place to stay, and we can't wait to share it with you!

Walking

Explore the farm and abundance of wildlife with guided farm walks, walk the Jurassic Way or along the Oxford Canal towpath, which runs through the farm. Pack a picnic, or the site can recommend somewhere to stop for lunch.

The farm is on a Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, so the site leaves grassland strips around all the arable fields and allows wildflower margins, encouraging an abundance of wildlife - hares, pheasants, deer, foxes and more... It's also wonderful for bird spotting, especially tree sparrows, skylarks and yellowhammers.

Picnics And Sundowners on Top of Horse Hill

Walk to the highest point on the farm, where you'll find a picnic bench and stunning views of 10 square miles of Warwickshire countryside. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Malvern Hills.

Farm Tour

Children's Tour - For younger children, please ask the site for a mini farm tour to collect eggs from the chickens and see the horses and sheep and the farm machinery in the farmyard.

Immersive Farm Tour - Hugh will take you on a full tour of Hill Farm, explaining the history of the farm, the current practices and plans for the future. Take about an hour for the tour, followed by a drink on Horse Hill to finish up and ask any questions you may have. There is a charge of £50 for this, including a drink at the end for a maximum of 2 people.

Only two tours are available per week, so please book in advance of your stay.

Garden Tour of Hardwick Hill

Hardwick Hill, opposite Hill Farm, has been transformed by the current owners since they moved there in 2004 and includes long borders, established trees, a wildflower meadow, a substantial vegetable garden and an orchard. Upon request, they can provide a private garden tour ending up at the Summer House for drinks/coffee/tea.

Cycling

Bring your own, hire an electric bike from Silver Cyclists in neighbouring Priors Marston, and enjoy stunning views, quiet roads, and excellent pubs. The site does not recommend cycling along the canal towpath as it seems to be tricky to avoid a puncture! You can cycle to either The Folly in Napton or The Plough in Lower Boddington along quiet country lanes.

Golf

Play golf at Hellidon Lakes, just 3.5 miles away and then relax at their spa afterwards.

Clay Shooting

Shooting at Honesberie Shooting School in neighbouring Priors Marston - Honesberie offers first-class clay and game shooting instruction and caters for all ages and abilities.

Tennis Hire of an outdoor tennis court is available in the village a short walk from Hill Farm, £8 per hour

which will go towards Priors Hardwick Church repairs.
