About the site
Set on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, near picturesque Ripley, this luxurious glamping retreat offers three charming canvas lodges for up to five guests. Foxes Den, Owls Hollow and Hedgehog Hideaway....which one will you choose? Each en suite canvas lodge is fully-furnished with two separate bedrooms, including a king-size bed and a second bedroom hosting a double bed with a single bunk for the whole family. There's also a cosy log burner to keep you warm at night and outdoor dining and BBQ for those late summer evenings. Don't forget to bring the marshmallows to toast on your private firepit complete with chunky log stools to warm by the campfire. The Foxes Den is a cosy fox themed tent located in the top corner of the field. It is complete with excellent views of the idyllic site, fluffy cushions, throws, and deep pile rugs. Dog-friendly and cosy, it's perfect for curling up with a good book. In the middle of the field, you'll find the Owls Hollow, complete with a rustic interior and chunky furniture. It's the ideal spot for that summer sun in the country. Come and hibernate in the bottom of the field at the Hedgehog Hideaway. With a fantastic view of the pond and summerhouse, this lodge has an earthy style, bringing you closer to the outdoors. Little North Field is tucked away in the village of Bishop Thornton and you'll find much to do nearby. Set in the golden triangle between Knaresborough, Pateley Bridge and Harrogate. Other unique attractions include the magnificent Fountains Abbey and spectacular Brimham Rocks. The Yorkshire Dales national park is also a short scenic drive through beautiful countryside to magical places including Appletreewick and Burnsall. As well as free welcome hampers on arrival, there are locally sourced food hampers available to buy too. Only one safari tent is dog-friendly - The Foxes Den.

What are the check-in and check out times at Little North Field?
Check-in is between 4pm - 10pm. Check out is before 10am on the last day. Please do not arrive any earlier to ensure the site has enough time to prepare for your visit. It's also asked that you text Little North Field your estimated time of arrival on your arrival day.
Is Little North Field a site dog friendly?
The Foxes Den Safari Tent is dog friendly. There is a maximum of two dogs allowed with an additional charge. Please ensure that your dogs are kept on leads onsite, as there is livestock in nearby fields. Please keep your pups off the beds and furniture.
Does Little North Field allow BBQs and campfires?
Each tent comes with its own BBQ and a fire pit area. Please do not do this on the wooden deck area. Charcoal, wood, and kindling can all be purchased onsite.
Does Little North Field allow groups being booked together?
Group bookings for all three tents must be arranged and authorised by Little North Field. Hen and stag parties are not permitted. This is a family site with a quiet policy after 10:30pm.
Pitches
Can I park near my pitch at Little North Field?
There is a designated gravelled parking area located immediately after you drive onsite. Please do not park beside your tent. The distance from the car park to the tent is approximately 20 - 50 metres. Only one vehicle per tent, except by prior arrangement.

Yes. Bedding and towels are included during your stay.

Sorry, there is no WiFi onsite. The signal is also poor, so it's best to download things you might like to watch!
Does Little North Field have a shop onsite?
Sorry, not onsite. Tesco Express is a ten minute drive away. Dale's butcher breakfast and BBQ hampers are available to order from Little North Field and will be waiting in your fridge when you arrive.

The Sawley Arms, The Inn South Stainley, and Paradise Cafe are all within a ten minute drive from the site.
