About Wenningdale Escapes
Located close to Ingleton and the charming Dales, these bespoke, top-of-the-range glamping pods are handmade and designed to offer real comfort alongside great views. Inside each pod you'll be treated to a kitchen area with a sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and food preparation area. Everything you need to make and serve a meal, plus enjoy a bottle of wine, is there for you - just hit the shops to choose your ingredients. There are also en-suite shower and toilet facilities. You'll also find full size real beds with bed linen, including pillows and duvets. The stylish glamping cabins have electric lighting, sockets and USB ports, plus heating to keep you toasty. A 32" TV screen with Freeview channels is on the wall for when you fancy kicking back and relaxing. The pods' interior includes a compact table for dining or you can eat out on the patio and covered deck in the fresh air while cooking up a BBQ. Disposable BBQs can be bought from the nearby shop.

Facilities within the pods are self contained, including a fully equipped kitchenette area and en-suite toilet basin and shower. The pods enjoy complimentary WiFi as well as good 4G and phone signal. Also onsite is an 18 hole golf course, 8 bay driving range and bar (daytime only, seasonal opening times apply).
The village of High Bentham is a 10 minute walk away, along a street lit pavement. The village itself has four pubs, two Indian takeaways (one is also a restaurant) a Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop, Spar and Co-op as well as several cafe-cum-bistros.

Fabulous, and would definitely come again. If I was being picky, it would be good to have a microwave with a grill or have something that has a hob. But, since I'm a queen at microwave cooking, I smashed it anyway.

My daughter and I wanted a couple of days walking in North Yorkshire. Usually we would camp/go in a basic pod but I was intrigued by Wenningdale Escapes as it seemed to offer the next level up from a pod. However, I was wrong....it is more akin to a luxury hotel suite than a pod! Fantastic views, spacious, clean, a TV that works and more importantly, after a long days walk: a warm shower and place to dry your clothes ready for the next day. As I hadn't known what to expect I had taken an array of stuff (i.e. hot water bottle, sleeping bag etc) but as they say, all you need to take is yourself which makes everything so convenient and easy. I would strongly recommend Wenningdale Escapes - what it offers really does make a difference.

Lovely stay, relaxing/quiet/enjoyable views. A personal opinion on the pod. Maybe a little better laid out inside. No space for laying out breakfast items. Enough was supplied for a short stay but felt a little cluttered looking at food/clothes etc all in the wardrobe. Making a drink etc was not comfortable. Maybe an extended cupboard (enclosed) beside the existing unit or the other corner could be perfect. This is highlighted in my score for value & facilities.

Things to do on site and in the High Bentham area
There are an abundance of activities on the doorstep including golf on the site's own 18 hole golf course and driving range.
There are great walking routes in the area and road and mountain cycling tracks available from the park. You could even book a horse riding session and explore on a hack.
Nearby Ingleton is famous for the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail, White Scar Caves and the challenge of the Yorkshire Three Peaks route.
Or if that all sounds like too much effort, just relax! You don't need to go anywhere on a lovely clear day. Just sit back and enjoy the view!
