About Dale Farm Holidays
The site is set in a unique position between the Yorkshire Wolds and the North York Moors, making it an ideal base for exploring Yorkshire. The cosy treehouse is perfect for two (but adults only, rather than little ones). There's a proper bed in the bedroom, a shower, a loo and a quirky outdoor kitchen with deck, barbecue, sink and seating. It's fully insulated, double glazed and fitted with a log burning stove to keep you toasty. There are also three romantic cabins set deep in woodland. Much loved by couples and groups of up to six friends, they're your chance to enjoy a simpler, slower pace of life. The cabins are fully insulated, double glazed and fitted with log burning stoves, electric and a light, plus proper beds. Each cabin has an electric kettle and a deck with a BBQ for simple cooking and a seating area. The cabins do not have running water but there is lovely shower room and an outdoor sink and tap shared between the cabins. Pull up to the communal fire pit and gather round to watch the sky. Or why not enjoy a stay in the spacious retro German caravan onsite? The Big Yellow Caravan includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, bedroom with double bed, private shower cabin and a TV. All bed linen and towels are provided. Outside the caravan, you'll enjoy your own private garden with an outdoor fire pit and furniture. The grain store sleeps two, and is complete with a well equipped kitchen, double bed, and en-suite shower room. The summerhouse offers stunning garden views, with an open-plan living area, double bed, and shower room. All accommodation is dog friendly.

Free Wi-Fi is available on site. The treehouse's facilities are self contained and a lovely shower/toilet is shared between the three cabins. The site is 1.5 miles from the village centre, set in peaceful country, so a car or bikes are handy to reach shops etc.

The Treehouse

Situated in woodland, the treehouse includes a double bed, log burner with basket of free logs, living room, bedroom, shower room and a private toilet. There's a chic outdoor kitchen and dining deck with fridge, BBQ and chiminea. Suitable for adults only.

Ground floor cabins with good access (two small steps), a cosy log burner, electric kettle, barbecue, crockery and cutlery supplied. Bedlinen is provided and a firepit in the woodland.
The Grain Store

A converted grain silo sleeping two, with a well equipped kitchen. double bed, and en-suite shower room. A deck complete with BBQ is also provided.

Things to do on site and in the Filey area
Make the North Yorkshire Moors National Park your first stop, where you can roam the heather moorland, pine forests, green hills and pretty coastline, not to mention dipping into historic abbeys, ancient castles, proper Yorkshire pubs and secretive little sleepy villages.
The Yorkshire Wolds are the place to climb rolling hills or see beds full of wildflowers, covering over a soft chalk landscape. There are many tranquil villages which each have a distinct character, so browse them all and try their local flavours.
The Yorkshire Wolds are unbeatable for walking, cycling and horse riding. It's packed with peaceful roads that will take you through the unspoiled countryside.
David Hockney, the artist, drew plenty of inspiration from the lovely wolds, so you can follow the Hockney Trail and match his lovely vistas.
