A family run camping and caravan site with log cabins, on a working farm. You'll stay just six miles from York, beside the River Ouse at Home Farm. A great base for exploring the many attractions of York Viking Centre, Minster, The Shambles and the National Railway Museum. Try the nearby Dales, North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds and all the coast.
About Home Farm
Only six miles from the vibrant historic city of York, this is a tranquil haven by the River Ouse. You can have a busy day out exploring, then you turn off down the B1222, and again down the farm drive and you can just put your feet up and relax. On site children have space to run and play. Couples, cyclists, families and well behaved pets are all welcome to enjoy pitches that include electric hook-ups for tents, caravans and motorhomes. There are also a range of pitches without EHUs for tents.
Open from 1 February to 31 December
All facilities are located next to the farmhouse, including gents toilets and shower, ladies toilets and shower and a family wet room and shower. There are washing up facilities, a tourist information point and a chemical waste disposal point.

Site rules and policies
We are a quiet, family run campsite. If you're looking for a party, loud music then we're not for you.
No noise after 11pm.
No groups.
Please keep dogs on a lead on site and near livestock. A maximum of two pets are allowed in log cabins.
Things to do on site and in the York area
Fishing on the tidal River Ouse, is just a short walk through the meadow from the site. It's a great spot for a dog walk, kite flying or just relaxed bird watching.
Children will have space to ride bikes or play games such as football, rounders and cricket.
Just four miles from the site is the A64, with access to Castle Howard, the Yorkshire Coast, the North Yorkshire Moors and the Dales.
