About the site

This family run holiday park provides an ideal, fun-filled getaway on the North Devon Coast. Enjoy wonderful sea views throughout the site, including from the outdoor swimming pool, while Woolacombe Beach is just a 15-20 minute walk away. With a fantastic range of onsite facilities, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained! For camping, there are two small non electric pitches for small tents only, alongside 30 non electric grass pitches for tents and roof tents. A range of electric grass pitches are also available for tents, roof tents, trailer tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes. There are 13 electric hardstanding pitches, each measuring 11m x 8m and accommodating up to six people. These are suitable for roof tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes. Or, choose a fully serviced super pitch. Grass and hardstanding options are available, including a 10 amp hook up, pitch-side lighting, a TV point, water tap and drainage. Some also boast fantastic sea and countryside views! If you prefer a little more comfort, the luxury sea view cabins sleep up to six people, with a maximum of four adults. Each cabin includes an L-shaped sofa bed, a mezzanine with a double or twin bed, and a dining table that converts into a large double bed. Duvet and pillows are provided, while bed linen can be hired from the site. The open-plan lounge and kitchen has everything you need, including a dining area, TV, gas hob, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and cooking equipment. Heating keeps the space cosy, while the private ensuite has a shower, a toilet and hand basin. Outside, you will have your own private decking, with some also offering an optional private hot tub for relaxing with a glass of bubbly in the evening. Dogs are welcome on all pitches and in the pet-friendly cabins, and can even join you in the clubhouse, so four-legged family members don't have to miss out on the fun. After all, you wouldn't leave the kids at home! A range of seasonal super pitches and holiday homes are available.

Site facilities include disabled access toilets and showers, a family bathroom and a laundrette. There are heated swimming pools, both indoor and outside. The outdoor swimming pool is open between April and September. You'll also find a shop and a licensed clubhouse and food bar with nightly children and adult entertainment.

For entertainment, there is a kids club (daily except Monday and Friday), an amusement arcade, UV bowling, a play park, crazy golf and a football/basketball Astro pitch. There are pool tables, a dog walking area, a DVD player hire, a book swap and puzzles available too.

Next door to the park is the local horse riding stables and it's a 15 minute walk to the beach via a footpath.

Not a friendly park. Staff unhelpful, seemed to be more concerned about making money. Water point was down a steep slope because someone had connected to the shared water point on my level, so had to go down and up a 45 degree incline to get water all week which, on first day as trying to get water uphill, waterhog dislodged and rolled down hill. Lucky nobody was injured, apart from myself trying to stop it crashing into someone's vehicle. I ended up on floor with cuts and bruises reported but nothing happened. Spent a week like this because someone felt entitled to connect their van to the main water pipe so nobody else could use it.

The park is the perfect choice for a fun-filled holiday in North Devon, offering onsite entertainment offering music, dancing, cabaret, bingo, game shows and quizzes. Also for the little ones, there are daily sessions in the Woolly Bear Club during the mornings and evenings.

Settle down in front of a great film with DVD hire available at reception or get your skills ready for the park's incredible talent shows.

You're just a 15-20 minute walk from one of the UK's top beaches, Woolacombe, so grab a bucket and spade and prepare to spend days by the seaside. Sea and river fishing, golf, tennis, horse riding and surfing are all available in the area.

If you prefer more secluded spots, there are plenty of other beaches around Woolacombe to explore, such as Combesgate, Barricane and Grunta Beach, all within a five minute drive!

Explore the beauty of Exmoor and visit Ilfracombe (10 minutes) with its shops and harbour, with steamer trips to Lundy Island.

A visit to the historic market town of Barnstaple (25 minutes), especially on market days, is also a must. Woolacombe and Mortehoe are also famous for the National Trust's stunning walks that can take you in any direction you fancy, and cater for novice or keen ramblers.

Funder Island (5 minutes) provides some family fun with pirate-inspired crazy golf, karts, boats and outdoor fun or, if you need to catch your breath, relax in one of the many ice cream shops with a cream tea or perhaps other local delights.
