About the site
A great spot for some family fun with day and evening entertainment to keep boredom at bay. Guests have access to the site's own private beach, perfect for making sand castles, splashing in the sea and soaking up the sun! Tents, campervans, trailer tents, motorhomes and caravans (up to 7m x 4.5m) are welcome on the site's range of grass pitches. Each comes with a 16 amp electric hook up, simply choose between the Main Field which is closer to the sea and facilities, or the Top Field which is set closer to the road but often less crowded in the busier periods. Campervans, motorhomes and caravans (including twin axle) can also opt for a fully serviced hardstanding pitch. These include your own 16 amp electric, water and grey waste hook up. Free access to the pools and evening entertainment is also included in your stay! The 'Rolling Stones bar and restaurant' is great for nights when you don't fancy cooking or just want to watch some live sport! Daytime entertainment and evening shows are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained too. Set along the Jurassic Coast, the site is perfectly located for exploring this dramatic coastline with Lyme Regis only 20 minutes away! Explore the South West Coast Path and the surrounding Dorset countryside. However, it is no surprise that guests don't seem to stray too far with the excellent onsite facilities on offer. There are three swimming pools, a bowling alley, a games room and water sports. For adults in need of some peace and quiet, there is also a gym, sauna and golf course just next door! No need to book a dog sitter, this site caters for the whole family! There is even an enclosed dog exercise area to let them run around. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please note they are not permitted in the shop, indoor pool or on the dance floor. If you want to cook up a BBQ, you can pick up some tasty ingredients from the onsite shop. Please just ensure BBQs are raised from the ground (slabs can be provided for disposable BBQs). Fire pits and burners are not permitted.

We had a brilliant 4 night stay with our kids (10,12 and 13). The outdoor pool was a real highlight, the staff were relaxed yet helpful and the facilities were excellent.

I don't normally choose large sites as prefer peace and quiet, but booked there as was taking my two grandchildren and needed activities. The site has two swimming pools, one outdoors one indoors. The pools were fine, but the indoor one needs to be booked in advance so you're not guaranteed to get in when you want and you only get an hour. My main dislike was that dogs were being allowed off leads around the tents/vans. Twice I had a dog jumping up at me. Also, not everyone is happy to have dogs in the restaurant, have them in a separate area if they must come, and make sure signs that say no dogs are adhered to. I saw a woman in the ladies toilets with a dog.
