There are great sea views from certain lookout points on the site, but not pitch side. Just five minute drive to Millbrook town.

Why choose Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Village

Situated on the Cornwall and Devon border, the perfect base for exploring the South West

Stunning sea views from vantage points, just a ten minute walk from a sandy beach and surf school

Great onsite facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool and a bar/restaurant

About the site

The campsite is nestled into the unspoilt landscape of the Rame Head Peninsula. It was once an area of coastal defence and is steeped in fascinating history - with cannons that lie along the cliffside and many secrets to discover within its architecture. The site has 12 fully serviced hardstanding pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups, a separate Elsan point and water taps. Allowing units of up to 6m x 5m, and with an adjacent parking space. These are close to the shower and toilet facilities. Alternatively, tent campers can opt for a fully serviced grass pitch, and there are smaller non-electric hiker pitches suitable for two man tents for those travelling on foot. You are welcome to bring up to two four-legged friends along with you. Please note, sea views are from vantage points on the park, not the pitches.

A note from the site themselves...

Located in the enviable location being the borders of Devon and Cornwall, means that exploring the West Country with your family and all it has to offer is only a short drive away. We've been in the touring and motorhome business since around 1975 and our resort with its facilities has got better year on year.

Being the only touring resort tucked away in situated on the Heritage coastline of the Rame Peninsula, surrounded on three sides by the sea, means that we have to cater to all aspects of an outdoor stay, so enjoy the views, the history and the beaches. We believe that that we provide the ultimate location for you and your family to stay and enjoy this beautiful part of England.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

A fascinating location which with a bit of care and expenditure could be far better. A bit run-down with too many bits of old plastic fencing and weeds. Showers and toilets functional, with good water pressure but tatty. Friendly staff and a good restaurant (if you like background music and pub quizzes) with an excellent, helpful chef (provided a gluten-free version of a meal and clearly understood what this means-thank you). Good distance between pitches. Small swimming pool. WiFi poor (as they acknowldge and is probably not their fault). Also little telephone signal so 4G not really an option (perhaps varies throughout the site). Standard of the site reflected in reasonable (for these days) rates. Easy access to a nearby excellent beach (swimming, surfing, cafe etc.).

Needs some TLC and pics are not upto date

Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesJul 2025

The place was tired in desperate need for some tlc. And getting in and out of site was tricky. However on the whole it was pleasant. It would have been nice though if the pitches matched the pictures on the website.
